Netflix expands its partnership with Airtel

Netflix will offer three month free subscriptions to new and existing subscribers of select Airtel Postpaid and V-Fiber Home Broadband plans. Airtel subscribers will also be able to pay for their subscriptions through their postpaid or home broadband bill


After three months, these subscribers will be able to pay for their Netflix subscription using their Airtel postpaid or home broadband bill. Remaining subscribers will also be able to sign up for Netflix through Airtel’s apps and pay for their subscription using their Airtel bill. That said, Airtel is yet to disclose details of postpaid mobile and home broadband plans that will be eligible for this initiative, and it is expected to be announced over the coming weeks. In addition to this, Airtel TV will promote Netflix content through a dedicated row on its app, the company said in a statement.
